Collage FAQ
Are images uploaded or edits saved?
No. Images, text and undo history stay in page memory. Leaving or refreshing cannot be recovered; download first. Assets and personal data are not sent to a server.
How do preview and download dimensions differ?
Preview fits the screen. Export uses actual canvas pixels and original files. Enlarging low-resolution images adds no detail. Content outside the canvas is clipped; selection handles are not exported.
How do I keep transparency?
Enable transparent canvas and choose PNG or WebP. The checkerboard only indicates alpha and is not exported. JPG uses the canvas background instead.
Why can deleted images still count toward limits?
Originals referenced by the last 30 undo edits are retained. They are released when no history references them. Clearing the collage releases all assets and resets history.
Can I edit text? Are animations supported?
Select a text layer, edit its content, font, size, color and alignment, then update it. Output is static; animated sources use one browser-decoded frame. Downloaded text is flattened and no longer editable as a layer.
