CAMPAIGN LINK GUIDE

Give every campaign link a clear source

UTM parameters identify a link’s channel, campaign and creative. Use this tool to keep naming consistent, check links and prepare results for advertising, online stores and marketing teams.

Features

From campaign parameters to ready-to-use links, all on one page.

Channel presets

Presets such as Facebook, Google Ads and TikTok fill source and medium. Keep control of campaign and creative names.

Single and batch links

Process up to 200 URLs with shared parameters. Errors stay separate; export results as CSV or TXT.

Merge existing parameters

Keep business parameters and URL fragments while updating UTM values. Remove old UTM tags when starting fresh.

Links and QR codes

Copy a full link or ad-platform parameters. Download PNG or SVG QR codes for static links, posters and packaging.

Reusable local templates

Save parameter templates explicitly, then load, rename or delete them. Loading a template keeps destination URLs unchanged.

Processed in your browser

Link building and QR encoding run locally. Inputs are not uploaded; only templates you explicitly save are retained.

How to use

Choose a tracking convention, then copy the final result.

  1. Enter destination URLs

Use a complete HTTP or HTTPS landing-page URL. In batch mode, enter one URL per line.

  2. Select a channel

Fill source and medium with a preset, or enter your team’s existing naming convention.

  3. Add campaign details

Add a campaign name, then optional ID, term and content tags to distinguish creatives or link placements.

  4. Review the result

Check the URL, letter case and handling of existing tags. Correct failed rows in batch results.

  5. Copy, export or download a QR code

Share the full URL or paste ad-platform parameters into a parameter field. Dynamic placeholders are resolved by the platform.

  6. Save reusable parameters

Name and save the current parameters in Local templates. Load them later and adjust campaign details.

Parameter reference

Keep the standard parameter keys. Examples illustrate naming only.

Use cases

Name parameters around the sources and content you want to distinguish.

Compare ad creatives and placements

Keep one campaign name and vary content tags for images, videos or link positions when comparing analytics reports.

Creator and partner campaigns

Generate separate links with source or content tags for each partner. Save recurring parameter sets as local templates.

Email and social content

Use medium to distinguish email, paid_social and other channels; use content to label banners and buttons.

Posters, packaging and events

Tag each printed item or event, then download its QR code. Scan it to check the destination before printing.

FAQ

Quick answers for preparing and using your links.

Which parameters are required?

Source, medium and campaign are required, including existing values in the URL. Add ID, term, content and source platform when needed.

Will existing URL parameters be overwritten?

Filled fields replace matching UTM tags; empty fields retain old values. Business parameters and fragments stay. Clear existing UTM removes old tags before adding your current values.

Why use consistent letter case?

Analytics can treat Facebook and facebook as different sources. Plain input values default to lowercase; IDs and placeholders keep their case. Turn this off if your team uses another convention.

Can batch rows use different parameter sets?

Up to 200 rows share the current form parameters. For distinct partner or campaign tags, generate separate sets or save and load named templates.

Why is a QR code unavailable for some links?

Unresolved placeholders do not yet identify a final destination, and long links may exceed QR capacity. Use a resolved static link or shorter parameters; copy and export remain available.

Are parameters saved automatically or synced across devices?

No. Save current parameters explicitly to keep up to 20 named templates without destination URLs. Templates stay in this browser; unsaved input and results clear when you leave.

Where can I see visits and conversions?

This tool builds links and does not connect to ad accounts or reports. After an analytics-enabled site receives visits, check its analytics platform for source, medium and campaign data. UTM does not install tracking or calculate ROAS.
